A Marketer needs to ask herself –
Is my job to keep my client happy?
Is your job to make your client successful?
Both the things aren’t always the same.
A Marketer who agrees with everything that the client says, just to be in the client’s good books is merely a puppet.
A Marketer who has the courage to disagree with the client from time to time makes more impact. Of course, the disagreement is in the best interest of the client.
Just like a Dad would scold his 5-year-old son, a Marketer sometimes needs to take a strong stand and disagree with the client… simply to protect the client from himself.
