A conversation with a friend made me realize that “Kindness” of a person should not be judged only by the thoughts they have.
You might have the darkest of thoughts, but if there is an innate intention of being a good guy (or gal), then you can always show restraint.
You can always choose to not act on the unkind thoughts.
A kind person is not someone who doesn’t have unkind thoughts.
A kind person is someone who refuses to act on the unkind thoughts.
Does that make sense?
