For a Creator who creates and publishes content regularly, sooner or later a challenge surfaces.

You run out of things to say!

It seems that you have hit a block and you have no clue what to publish today.

Happens to everyone.

How do you deal with this?

Well, you cant start digging a well when you are thirsty.

One habit of a powerful storyteller is that she is always capturing stories around her. She would always be on the lookout for any inspiration in the outside world.

Whether it’s a coffee shop that she visits…

The grocery store…

Or even the park near her place…

And exactly how do you capture these ideas?

Have a pocket diary.

Noticed something weird about the guy with the black hat sitting on the bench?

Make a note of it in your pocket diary.

Noticed a really funny conversation between a Dad and his 4-year-old daughter?

Make a note of it in your pocket diary.

Before you know it, you have a lot of material that you can use in your writing.

Full disclosure – I am being a hypocrite. While I love this practice, I have failed to make it a part of my life. I am hoping that this email finally motivates me to carry a pocket diary wherever I go.
