I love my morning cup of coffee.
A few days back a friend of mine, who loves coffee as well, introduced me to this pretty cool coffee brand known as “Blue Tokai”.
My friend also told me how they send a personalized note to all their customers, in which they tell the story of the place where coffee was sourced from.
I immediately went to their website and ordered coffee.
I did not become their customer because of excellent SEO.
I did not become their customer because their landing page was optimized.
I did not become their customer because their paid ads were working great.
I became their customer, simply because my friend told me about this brand and I connected with their story.
While many Marketers choose to build a brand with a competitive mindset like “We want to beat our competition with SEO and Google ads and conversion optimization”, I strongly urge everyone to build a brand that tells a story… and which encourages its customers to tell a story as well.
